Yulia Klimento · Founder & Lead Ecologist
The founder
A Restoration Ecologist, Regenerative Design Consultant, and Wilderness Guide.
Yulia Klimento founded R3 Ecology with 9+ years of experience across biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, land stewardship, and environmental education. Their work integrates field science, systems thinking, and entrepreneurial leadership to create more resilient, biodiverse landscapes and communities.
With formal training in Biodiversity Conservation at McGill University and advanced specialization in Restoration Ecology at Auburn University, Yulia brings experience spanning field research and restoration, regenerative land management, program development, and professional ecological education. Their practice is grounded in technical rigor and shaped by years of fieldwork, wilderness practice, and working across diverse continents & seasons — informing a systems-based understanding of the relationships between people and place.
